The Coalition War Outreak

Set in a alternative reality to Star Trek, the reality that the Coalition War is set has a similar history, albeit there are differences. The most notable apart from the different Enterprise NX-01 design is the fact that the Federation will never be formed. In it's place the Interstellar Coalition, a mutual trade and defence alliance is in it's place.

My goals for this project is to present each species as best I can, each to have their own unique strengths and weaknesses. Give the player a feeling of actually playing as the Tellarites, which is vastly different to the Vulcans or any other faction. To be honest it's Fleet Operations set a couple hundred years back in time.

I also aim to show both sides of the conflict from their perspective. Both were the aggressors, while from Earth's and the Coalition's stand point the Romulan's started the war, from the Romulan view point it was Earth and it's interference in Romulan affairs that caused them to attack Earth as a warning to leave well enough alone.

With any luck Megadroid's Mission Editor will be available by the time I finish the main factions and I can make a brand new campaign to reflect this philosophy and idea.

This was just a little something I did while backing up my site in preparation for a upgrade. Got to kill some time.
