Rebel and Republic Starfighters by Majestic-MSFC Rebel and Republic Starfighters by Majestic-MSFC
Here is a a complete list of my Rebel and Republic Starfighters. This will be updated whenever I made a new fighter. They are all to scale.

Designs by:
Z-95, X-wing, Y-wing, V-wing, B-wing and A-wing by LucasArts
E-wing by Brand-X and Fate of the Galaxy Dev Team
D-wing by Industrial Light and Magic modeler Warren Fu
H-wing and Gamma 2 by Adam Kopala
NTB-630 by Howard Day, thanks to Major Payne for assistance with the model.

All models and textures by Majestic aka me.
Special thanks to Adam Kopala for allowing me to use his own models to make low poly versions of his designs.

Heh, the B-wing reminds me of a Japanese Zero.

Might have been where they got the idea and inspiration from.

I still love the X-Wing and would choose it over the E-Wing

Yeah I still prefer the X-wing design over the E-wing, even the XJ X-wing design I prefer. Something I plan to do a little later down the track.

If I could have the pick of which fighters I would bring into combat, I would use the X-Wing as my main dogfighter with the ARC-170 as the premier bomber/assault craft and a heavily modified Z-95 as a close support craft. But then again I have made my own designs as well.

Ah an Incom fan. I do too like their designs. I think I am actually more a fan of the Z-95 than the other two.

Yeah they are great designs. I should have some more Incom designs/models (about 5-6) coming sometime early next year.

My fighters are based off the Incom fuselage and my bomber in particular is designed to house more then one person. You can see more examples of them here: www.facebook.com/pages/Allianc…

Nice work, it is a bit of an departure from the more classic Incom look which is good, I like that.

One of my upcoming designs is a re-work of the Z-95, making the 2 engine version with the four exhausts. It's a vastly superior model to the one I currently have (it was the first fighter I did actually).

  ones that i recognize: B-wing, Z-95, X-wing, E-wing, Y-wing, (the one next to the Y-wing, is that an H-class?) A-wing, V-wing, H-wing, D-wing and one i cannot identify. a few you need: K-wing bomber, ARC-170 heavy fighter, V-19 interceptor.

The one next to the Y-wing is the NTB-630 Bomber, a Republic design. It was mentioned in various canon but never had a design, Howard Day did a design that has been adopted by the Fan gaming community as the official TTB-630.

I have a V-19 un-textured and an ARC-170 which is almost complete in it's modeling. Due to these being low poly for game use I have avoided the K-wing due to the missiles but I do believe one day I will give it a shot and see how low I can get it with sufficient detail. All of these models are under the 2,000 poly mark (except the B-wing which is a little over 2,100 if memory serves). I also have a new Z-95 model (the two engine version) that needs texturing as well. If you watch me (if you haven't already), when I do get around to doing them you'll be notified. I am currently working on another Star Wars fighter. I am about 1/3-1/2 through it's texturing.

I have a bone to pick....granted, I love these designs :)

my bone is that these are not quite to scale; for example, according to Wookieepedia; the RZ-1 A-wing is 9.6m long, but in this, it looks longer than the X-wing which is supposed to be 12.5 meters long. the Y wing is 16 meters long; E-wing is 11.2 meters..again, this is all from Wookieepedia's specs, which is considered Canon.... maybe they ARE to scale to the action figures or to the game play mechanism but...it reminds me of the whole scaling issue with the Klingon Bird of Prey in several of the Star Trek Movies lol :)

still; awesome renderings! :)

Well these are design for a PC game and as such (being so small on screen) it is impossible to get an exact scale of 9.6 meters, 12.5 meters and so on. Thank you for your attention to detail, but due to being for a game this was a render just to show off my work, plus there is a bit of parallax error involved, if I had done a straight top view of everything the scale may have been a tad closer to what they are meant to be.

ahhh now  I see what you mean of parallax; well I wouldve gone like 10m versus 12m versus 11m, simplified but closer? I understand about the game constraints... :) still, these are excellent renderings anyhow! these are specifically for Rebel/Republic fighters? does the game provide such things like ARC 170s or Jedi Starfighters?

The game (Star Trek Armada 2) is moddable and as such any design I make can be included. I haven't done any other designs as I am working on some bigger Trek projects.

However this was just for a little fun, and some of these models have gone into a freelance game Star Wars Squadrons starwarssquadrons.com/

Thanks Chiletrek, all but a few are canon actually and have appeared in the movies at some point. One of them is actually a design that was to appear in Episode 3 but never made it to 3D. I think they had enough new designs in that movie as it was. I am still working on this and will continuously have new fighters added to the image.

Hello:
Cool, thanks for the quick reply :happybounce: .

I can understand that not all models can get to make it onscreen, that is sad, but I am happy that the design was not lost forever so fans can still play with those designs thanks to modellers such as yourself.

No problem. Yeah a lot of the fan designs are much better imo than the ones that appear on screen. I am working with a friend on here to bring his high poly models to low poly.

I had thought about the K-wing, but with all those engines and missiles it would throw my poly count out the roof as these models are designed for gaming purposes and as such a have a poly limit to consider.

However thanks for the suggestions, I appreciate it.

Yeah it's the next on my list, in fact I cleaned up the mesh this afternoon, it's a little high but considering it's an assault starfighter I think I can live with the 2100 poly count on her.

The top is the E-wing, a redesigned version which I feel is a better design.

The Bottom one is the H-wing, a design by :iconadamkop:
