Rear Admiral John Majest

Here is my own personal BSG character, whom first appeared in a RPG game I created called Crossovers. Played by Viggo Mortensen.

"John Majest, a Rear Admiral in the Colonial Fleet and a veteran of the Cylon war is the current commander of the Nova class Battlestar Endeavour and Battlestar Group 82. The former adjutant to Admiral Jack Nagala, John is known through the fleet to be one of the more forgiving commanding officers. One of the few officers still serving from the Cylon war, John believes very strongly in the education and betterment of the officers that he has under his command. Majest tends to make other CO's nervous because he has an uncanny ability to recruit officers he likes or thinks show promise away from their current postings. Because of this he's built a bit of a reputation throughout the admiralty not just for his poaching skills, but also for the fact that these officers are often eager to see deployments under him. Many consider a posting under Majest to be a blessing to a career and a subtle nod to their advancement within the fleet."
